Founded in 1999, it enables consumers and organizations to create custom photo books, prints, cards, gifts, and home décor through its online platform. The company also serves schools and businesses through dedicated divisions like Lifetouch and Yearbooks, offering tailored design and printing solutions. Known for its user-friendly technology and large-scale digital printing capabilities, Shutterfly combines creativity with mass customization—delivering millions of unique, high-quality products each year.
My role: In 2018, I joined Lifetouch (newly acquired by Shutterfly) to lead the launch of its in-house, on-demand yearbook division. Previously, yearbook design operated separately from the broader Lifetouch brand, with limited integration and outdated workflows. My role focused on aligning the yearbook business under the Lifetouch/Shutterfly umbrella, assessing end-to-end capabilities, and streamlining processes for greater efficiency and clarity. By leveraging Shutterfly’s advanced printing technology, we expanded customer options, improved product quality, and accelerated delivery timelines.
